Garnacho Turns Down Al Nassr Move Despite Ronaldo’s Presence, Eyes European Future

Alejandro Garnacho has reportedly declined an offer from Saudi club Al Nassr, despite the presence of his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo, in the squad. The 21-year-old winger from Manchester United was approached during the 2025 summer transfer window but made it clear he intends to continue his career in Europe rather than make a move to the Middle East.
Garnacho, who once shared the pitch with Ronaldo at United during the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons, has found playing time increasingly difficult to come by under current manager Ruben Amorim. His frustrations peaked when he was left on the bench during the UEFA Europa League final, where Manchester United suffered a narrow defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
With limited opportunities at Old Trafford, Garnacho has reportedly expressed a desire to leave the club this summer. Several European teams have taken interest, with Napoli and Chelsea among those previously linked with the young Argentine winger, who is eager to revitalize his career in a more competitive environment.
Manchester United could be facing a major reshuffle in their attacking line, as Garnacho joins a growing list of players seeking exits. Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, and Antony are also rumored to be considering departures, signaling potential changes ahead for the club’s frontline heading into the new season.
