Adidas, Puma, and Local Brands Compete in Tender for Indonesia National Team Jersey Deal

The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), through its commercial arm PT Garuda Sepak Bola Indonesia (GSI), has opened a competitive tender process for the next official apparel sponsor of the national football team. With Erspo’s current contract set to expire in February 2026, the federation is preparing for a new partnership that will cover not only jerseys but also training gear and accessories.
A number of major international and domestic sportswear brands have submitted proposals before the July 10 deadline. Among the well-known global names vying for the deal are Adidas, Puma, Kelme, and Warrix. These are joined by local brands such as Masagi, Riors, and the incumbent Erspo, all of whom are competing to become the next official kit supplier for the Garuda squad starting from the 2026–2030 period.
The tender process includes several key phases, beginning with document submission and followed by brand presentations and evaluations by the selection committee. Each participating brand is expected to demonstrate its ability to support the national team through both quality apparel and meaningful commercial value. Final decisions are expected after all candidates complete their evaluations later this month.
Over the past five years, Indonesia’s national team has seen several jersey sponsors, including Nike, Mills, and currently Erspo. With increased interest from top-tier international and domestic brands, PSSI views this tender as an opportunity to elevate the commercial and professional image of Indonesian football. The competition highlights growing confidence in the sport’s market potential within and beyond the country.
