Pratama Arhan Secures Two-Year Contract Extension with Bangkok United

Pratama Arhan continues to build his career abroad with a significant contract extension from Bangkok United, a top club in Thailand. After struggling for playing time at Suwon FC in South Korea, Arhan moved to Bangkok United during the January 2025 transfer window. His impressive performances in just half a season, including 15 appearances and four assists, convinced the club to offer him a two-year deal.
This contract extension marks a positive turn for Arhan, who has faced challenges securing regular minutes during his stints in Japan and South Korea. Since leaving PSIS Semarang in 2022, his playing time has been limited, with only a handful of appearances at Tokyo Verdy and Suwon FC. The move to Thailand appears to provide a more stable platform for him to develop and showcase his talents.
Arhan’s commitment and adaptation to the team’s system have been praised by his agent, who highlighted the club’s professionalism and the league’s suitability for Arhan’s growth. This stability is crucial as Arhan aims to regain a key role in the Indonesian national team, especially under the guidance of coach Patrick Kluivert.
Despite his limited involvement in recent national team matches, Arhan’s regular playing time in Thailand offers a chance to improve his form and fitness. With this fresh opportunity, he hopes to return as a vital contributor to the national squad in future competitions.
