Information
Scottish Championship consists of 10 teams in total, adopting a four round robin system (each team competes with other teams four times in the way of home and away). Teams receive three points for a win and one point for a draw. No points are awarded for a loss. The top team of the league goes straight to the Premier League, while the bottom team in the league is relegated to Second Division and the second-last team enters the relegation play-offs. The top 2 and top 4 teams in the Scottish Championship will participate in the play-offs. In the first round, the third place competes with the fourth team, and the winner will compete with the second team in the final. The winner will play against the second-last team in the Scottish Premier League for the place in the Scottish Premier League next season.
